This is How We Bite Our Tongue

The Swimming Pool

When I first walked into the exhibition, The Pool is the first installation that came into my eyes. There's a melancholy etched in it as the pool has been abandoned and the wall seems quite old and damped. I went through "The Pool", walk around it again and again. I can't help but to think about how lively it was in 1901. Just like the art works took me back to the past but in the same time bring me the reality. Somehow, its the idea that i want to transfer in my paintings, dealing with the remembering and forgetting memories.
